Lucan Woman Claudia Gelling will be doing a 10k walk around Lucan as Mrs Brown with a big bunch of blue balloons in hand for her four children with autism with the final destination point the being the front doors of Weston Airport where she will face her greatest fear, her phobia, a flight in a light aircraft around the skies of Lucan on Saturday the 30th of June.
Claudia is doing this to raise much needed funds to go towards Weston’s Special Day of Flying which takes place on Saturday the 7th of July to make the day as magical for the children with disabilities as she can.
Claudia added “As parents / families of children with special needs we don’t get many days of pure acceptance, love and fun. A day of laughter and smiles where the skies above us are filled with pure love, a day that from the ground to the tip top of the sky is filled with acceptance”.
