Cloud communications firm in2tel has acquired telecoms business Qtel, with Qtel’s founder Brian Dunleavy taking on the role of sales director.
The two firms had been in a longstanding partnership, with Qtel establishing itself as a key reseller and playing a major role in the success of in2tel’s hosted telephone system, in2pbx. The acquisition will see in2tel strengthen its service portfolio, in a year where the company has already seen strong growth in Q3.
Qtel’s expertise in supporting a wide range of on-site equipment, will further enhance in2tel’s ability to support businesses and assist in managing their customer requirement for future IP and hosted services.
Mark Hennessy, Managing Director, in2tel said: “The in2tel / Qtel combination has worked very well for many years and bringing the two firms together, will only strengthen our business.”
“in2tel is always focused on delivering for our customers, bringing innovative solutions, and providing excellent customer support. With this recent announcement we can continue building on our growth whilst offering additional services that we have not been able to before.”
Brian Dunleavy, Managing Director, Qtel said: “We’re delighted to be teaming up with in2tel and adding to the success the partnership has already seen. The relationship between the two companies has been built over many years, so it will be a smooth transition for both employees and customers.”
in2tel has seen a quick shift towards Cloud communication services, as companies have been forced to adapt work from home policies. Traditional ISDN has been replaced with more modern call centre applications and hosted technologies, which are designed for flexible work environments.
2020 has brought many new challenges for businesses across the country and in2tel believes its continued success will come from serving as a flexible communications provider that can meet customer’s ever-changing requirements.
