TU Dublin Celebrates the Graduation of 5,300 Students Across 22 Ceremonies

TU Dublin graduation

Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) proudly celebrates the graduation of 5,300 students in a series of 22 ceremonies held at the university’s Tallaght Campus. This year’s conferring ceremonies have not only been a testament to each student’s hard work and perseverance but also a tribute to the support systems—families, friends, and mentors—who have stood by them through their academic journeys.

Speaking to the TU Dublin Class of 2024, Interim President of TU Dublin Professor John Doran said. “As you step into the next chapter of your life, I encourage you to carry with you the values of inclusion and respect that have been central to your experience at TU Dublin. No matter which career path you pursue, you have the power to make a positive impact.

In a world increasingly divided by inequality, climate challenges, and threats to peace, your generation holds a unique responsibility. You are stepping into leadership at a time when the need for compassion, empathy, and fairness is greater than ever. The challenges we face are complex, from the widening gap between the rich and the poor to ongoing conflicts that endanger human rights and security. But with those challenges come opportunities —opportunities to advocate for social justice, human dignity, and lasting peace.”

At TU Dublin, education is more than just learning; it’s about real-world application. The University’s approach integrates theory with practical experience across the widest range of disciplines in Ireland, enabling students to apply knowledge directly within industry settings. This commitment ensures that every TU Dublin graduate is not only academically prepared but also equipped with hands-on skills that employers value.

TU Dublin, Ireland’s second biggest university, will host its CAO Open Day on its Grangegorman Campus on Saturday, 07 December. At this event, prospective students can learn more about courses delivered on the university’s five campuses in Grangegorman, Bolton Street, Tallaght, Blanchardstown, and Aungier Street. The University will also host Information Evenings in Tallaght on November 14th, Blanchardstown on November 21st, and   Spring Campus Open Days across all five locations in March and April. Find out more: https://www.tudublin.ie/opendays/
