Residents Associations have embraced recycling and to their credit have arranged, promoted and supported collection events in estates across Dublin.

As recycling team can’t service all area, householders have become increasingly proactive. Many people now drop off their old or unused electrical or electronic items to Recycle IT in Clondalkin for safe recycling at no cost! There has been an expansion in the number of schools, charities and community groups recycling all types of dual-purpose home and small office electrical and electronic equipment which is outdated and obsolete while many individuals and businesses are taking advantage of cost effective personal and business collections to clear out and create space. All this recycling is helping reduce environment harm and really increases reuse through recovery of metals and components.

Recycle IT accept all types and sizes of old and unwanted electrical and electronic goods. Teams collect from locations across Dublin wishing to safely dispose of electrical items large and small. Items received are separated, weighed and categorised into batches for further processing.

Throughout 2019 Recycle IT in conjunction with WEEE Ireland, South Dublin County Council and supported by the Dormant Accounts Fund will continue to offer free “door to door” electrical recycling days.
