On Saturday the 15th of June in the Lord Lucan Pub Claudia Gelling is hosting a fundraiser night to raise much needed funds to go towards The Special Day of Flying which takes place this July in Newcastle Aerodrome. Claudia commented “I have been growing my hair for sometime (quite a long time!) in preparation for this fundraiser night. I’ll be having a very special guest come to cut my hair with it then being donated to the Rapunzel Foundation, there will be a raffle on the night with some amazing prizes up for grabs and all to funds I manage to raise on the night will go towards activities and entertainment for the many children with disabilities and their families to make the day as magical as possible for them. EVERY CENT I RAISE WILL GO TOWARDS THE DAY. ” Claudia added “As parents / families of children with special needs, we don’t get many days of pure acceptance, love and fun. A day of laughter and smiles where the skies above us are filled with pure love, a day that from the ground to the tip top of the sky is filled with acceptance.”
Claudia is looking for raffle prizes to help the fundraising. Also, contributions of little bottles of water, bottles of juice, crisps, juice drinks etc. for goody bags for the children, and their families that would be amazing.
