Great News! The new age-friendly Meeting Centre at Orchard Lodge in Clondalkin is open. After many groups, for many years, have tried to deliver this amenity it is finally open. The board is very happy with the standard of the build and finishes. This will be an ideal place for the seniors of Clondalkin and surrounding areas to meet in comfort.

Thyes Kavanagh, Chair of the board commented “I would like to pay tribute to the many local groups who put forward members to become directors of the Board of Management of the not-for-profit company which will manage the Meeting Centre. As Chair of the board, I would also like to thank all the local political representatives, particularly Cllr. Eoin O Broin, and Cllr. William Carey- who were put forward to represent the local councillors on the Board. Their input and support has been invaluable”.
