Social inclusion session transports An Cosán children into a magical world!

The children who attend An Cosán’s Early Years and After School services in Rainbow House, Jobstown, were transported into a magical world recently through stories, songs and drumming. The social inclusion session was led by Segun Akano of The Akano Rhythm Brothers who told the children a story about how a tortoise helped an African elephant to make friends with other jungle animals. The children were encouraged to talk about the similarities and differences between people before taking part in a drumming circle to celebrate each person’s uniqueness. An Cosán is Ireland’s largest provider of community education.
