Saggart Special Needs Teacher Wins Big

Annette Plunkett  a special needs teacher in Stepping Stones School from Saggart, who is also studying while working full time, was delighted with her recent Winning Streak windfall. She spoke of how, only a week ago, she had just settled in for a Saturday evening of studying with her daughter Ciara. Both are in third level education at the moment, but their night of learning was ruined when Ciara’s phone rang and she was told that her mum was selected for Winning Streak. After that, Annette’s phone exploded with calls and didn’t stop until about midnight. She has found it difficult to concentrate on her studies ever since!

As well as working full time, Annette is also studying for her QQI level 6 degree in childcare in An Cosán in Tallaght, where she attends for lectures two nights a week. She also wants to pursue a Master’s Degree in Childcare once the degree is done.
