Cllr. Charlie O’Connor has expressed his concerns about the rising COVID-19 cases in Tallaght. Cllr O’Connor is a member of the Regional Health Forum, and says he is deeply concerned about the Covid 19 figures published for Tallaght Central and Tallaght South.

“I am concerned about the rising numbers of cases of COVID-19 in Dublin and in particular the Tallaght area. I would like to remind everyone to follow the public health guidelines currently being imposed on Dublin in a bid to reduce the growing number of cases. “This is a growing concern in Tallaght and beyond, that Tallaght University Hospital will soon be full and unable to cope. I am keeping in touch with local GPs who are deeply concerned at the situation. “I am appealing to the people of Tallaght, especially those under 45, to adhere to the guidelines and everyone must play their part in this ongoing battle,” concluded Cllr O’Connor.
