Public Consultation Open for Rathcoole Courthouse

Court Petty Sessions Rathcoole

Plans by South Dublin County Council, in partnership with Rathcoole Community Council, for an extension and alterations to the former Court of Petty Sessions on the Main Street in Rathcoole Village are currently out for public consultation. The historic building, which is a protected structure, will be enhanced with a multi-use room, café area and significant conservation and improvement work under the proposal, with funding from both the Council and the Department of Rural and Community Development under the Town and Village Renewal Fund.  The plans can be viewed, and submissions and observations can be submitted, via the Council’s online consultation portal until Tuesday 25 May 2021.
