Cllr Gilligan has expressed delight at the return of the Urban market in Corkagh Park, he said “There will be live music, family entertainment as well as authentic international cuisine. Residents have been asking for weeks about this, technically summer is over, but I am hopeful we have a few more weeks of sunshine left. The dates run from 27 Aug, 11am-5pm Sundays to 15 Oct. Trader application forms are also open for submission. SDCC have chosen Vintage Flair to operate the Urban Picnic as in previous years. Both SDCC & Vintage Flair have worked hard and put a lot of time and effort into this and I wish them every success in the coming weeks.”
