In recent weeks, there has been a lot of discussion about the Towers in Ringsend. Palmerstown Camera Club monthly competition winner in advanced section Aoife Tierney took this fantastic image of the Poolbeg Towers.
Palmerstown Camera Club meets every Wednesday at 8.00pm currently by Zoom. They normally have international photographers showing their images and giving members tips on how to take them. So far this year they have had photographers who specialise in underwater images with sharks, crocodiles, dolphins, different photographers who specialise in the following – landscapes, mountain climbing, still life, flowers, animals, mono, merging images and stylised portraiture. Whether you are a beginner or more advanced in photography all adults are invited, for free, to one or two of their friendly Zoom meetings.
