In Glendown it is wonderful to see so many groups of young people using the equipment before and after school and at weekends; and seeing the social interaction of parents, grandparents and groups of neighbours.” The Mayor paid tribute to the local community for their support in both the development of this playground and their continued support of this valuable facility, and the work of the Council staff in managing the project and maintaining the playspace.
