Permission sought for additional units at old ESSO Station Site on Monastery Road

Esso Site Monastery Rd Clondalkin

Local TD for Dublin Mid-West John Curran has alerted residents of a new planning application that has been lodged for the old ESSO Station site on the Monastery Road Clondalkin SD19A/0258. Commenting on the recent application Deputy Curran said; “Planning permission had previously been granted for a development on this site of 22 apartments in a four-storey high development.

However the new proposal will increase the number of units to 26 and the development will now be 5 floors high if planning permission is granted. Works have already commenced on the site so many people may not notice or be aware that a new planning application has been sought. It came to my attention that a new planning application has been lodged when local resident’s in the area of Monastery Road came to me with their concerns that the development will be too high at this site. Those who wish to make a submission on this planning may do so before 17th September 2019 to South Dublin County Council,” concluded Deputy Curran.
