The result of Palmerstown Camera Club’s first ever International Club Competition was recently announced. The competition was against the very successful South African Club Hibiscus. Palmerstown Camera Club’s first international challenge with the highly-esteemed Hibiscus Photographic Society of South Africa was a great success. Each club submitted 25 mono photographs and 25 colour photographs with a maximum of two photos from any one member.
Jane Lines, UK , was the official judge. Jane is an approved International Judge by FIAP (International Association of National Associations of Photography). The results were very close but Palmerstown Camera Club had the winning photograph.
Suzanne McMahon, Palmerstown Camera Club won Best Overall Image ” Silent Tears”. It is a stunning yet delicate portrait and a very worthy winner. (Main Image)
