Palmerstown Camera Club Host National Shield
Palmerstown Camera club took part in The National Shield Competition at Pobalscoil Iososoide Schoolin in Palmerstown in November. 27 clubs throughout the country took part and all
competitors produced high quality images. On the day. Unfortunately Palmerstown Camera club did not win the competition but two members produced two strong panel’s one colour and one mono.  The group received a prize from the PSA (Photographic Society Of America), the club currently features in group c and hopefully next year the group will enter into group b. The winners who received an honourable mention where Elaine Butler, Gerald Phelan, Nina Butler, Lorraine Morris, and Suzanne McMahon. This is a great honour for the club and their members to receive international recognition. Elaine Butler will be at RDS at this year's Craft Fair in main hall at stand A50 and she will be selling a range of her photography images. If you are at the
fair please do drop by Elaine’s stand. 

A friendly and vibrant club, Palmerstown Camera club are always open to new members. If you are interested in photography join on any Wednesday at 8pm to 10pm in the Parish Hall, Kennelsfort Road, Palmerstown.
