Tallaght Councillor, Charlie O’Connor has welcomed the approval of Community & Sports Development Grants to local Groups at the October meeting of the Council.
The local Groups approved for Grants were:Dominics Active Mens Social (DAMS) €1000Dominics Ladies Crochet Group €1000St Mark’s Youth Club €3500 He also added that Dublin Community Games, who held their Athletics Final at Tallaght Athletics Club, are to receive €1450. According to Councillor O’Connor these Grants are important for local organisations and he wished the successful Groups well.
