New Seasons Kicks Off With Local Camera Club

Maynooth Chapel Mary Mangru

As we step into September, Palmerstown Camera Club are excited to kick off the new season with the club starting on September 8th. With a host of speakers and workshops for the coming year, they invite new & returning members to join. The group meets every Wednesday from 8pm – 10pm currently online until clarification on covid restrictions is announced. The annual membership fee is €110 and this includes a FREE 6 – week beginners photography course on Wed 7-8 pm. This course is given by an award-winning photographer within the club. The tutorials are informative with great tips on how to get the best out of you and your camera. The club serves all levels of photography – Novice, Intermediate & Advanced.

The featured image of Maynooth Chapel was taken by Mary Mangru. It is several separate images stitched together using software. The club would usually have a workshop on this type of effect or an advanced member would be able to help out if another member wanted to achieve the same look with an image. People interested in joining the club or even attending one or two meetings free of charge to see how their photography could benefit from being a member can do so by contacting secpcc@mail.com.
