New initiative for young people to explore how Irish language and traditions can inspire environmental innovations

Pictured recently to mark the launch of a new educational programme for young people – ‘Treoraigh do Thodhchaí’ – were 5th year students Caoilte, Déithín and Ferdia. The initiative, which is now open for applications, will explore how the Irish language and traditions can inspire creative, sustainable, and technological solutions for the future.

The week-long programme will feature hands-on workshops and is open to young people aged 15-17. It will run from Monday, 31st March to Friday, 4th April 2025. The programme is a partnership between CONNECT Centre’s Academy of the Near Future and Gael Linn’s Gaelbhratach team.
