Griffith College, Ireland’s largest private third level college, presented honorary awards to Michael Noonan, Adam Harris and Brian Jennings at its graduation ceremonies in Dublin last week. Michael Noonan, a former Finance Minister and Leader of Fine Gael, received his award in recognition of his outstanding public service and expert stewardship of Ireland’s economy during the very difficult years from 2010 to 2013.
Adam Harris and Brian Jennings received their awards in recognition of the outstanding contributions they have made in their respective fields at a national level.
Professor Diarmuid Hegarty, Founder and President of Griffith College, said, “The College is delighted to honour Michael Noonan for his long service as a public representative and Minister of Finance, Adam Harris as CEO and founder of Ireland’s national autism organisation AsIAm, and journalist Brian Jennings whose voice brings us the news on Morning Ireland each day. This continues the College’s long tradition of recognising notable individuals who have contributed at both national and international level.”
