Mayor Baby Pereppadan officially opened Greentrees Park upgrade

Greentrees Park upgrade

Recently, the Mayor of South Dublin County Council, Cllr Baby Pereppadan officially opened Greentrees Park.

Speaking at the event Mayor Cllr Baby Pereppadan said It brings me great joy to warmly welcome you to officially open the newly upgraded Greentrees Park. This occasion marks the completion of a €250,000 investment that has transformed this public space. Greentrees Park, which encompasses two green areas covering 13 acres in total, has undergone a phased upgrade over the past 6 months. This includes a new footpath exercise loop, planting 100 mature trees, park benches, bulb planting, and enhancing pedestrian entrances, making it a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.

Mayor, Cllr Baby Pereppadan added I would like to extend my gratitude to the Public Realm Section of South Dublin County Council, who worked alongside O’Brien Landscapes for the work they have done to improve the park. A special thanks to the local community and elected members for their collaboration, support, and input on this project.
