Marion Lane Is Remembered At Tallaght Sports Complex

Marion Lane Remembered Tallaght Sports Complex

Marion Lane sadly passed away in March 2017 and is dearly missed at Tallaght Sports Complex.  The Swim Coach, from Kilnamanagh passed away at the age of 63 and dedicated 38 years to the sports complex. She also helped establish the Tallaght Masters Swim Club 20 years ago and had a great involvement in the Tallaght Swim Team.  Recently, the staff at Tallaght Sports Complex remembered Marion and her legacy by unveiling a second plaque and naming lane five ‘Marion’s Lane’. This plaque honours Marion’s involvement in the Tallaght Masters, which was set up for people over 18 who wish to swim competitively in galas and open swims.
