Continuing rapid growth, Lynk have acquired three leading Dublin firms, adding over 200 drivers to their fleet

September 8th 2017: Lynk, Dublin’s taxi app, have finalised three key acquisitions across Dublin, rapidly expanding their reach for customers and further cementing them as one of the biggest players in the Irish taxi industry.  Lynk has merged with prominent Lucan based firm, Penny Cabs, as well as one of the largest firms in North Dublin, Exchequers, and boutique firm, Tallaght Express.

All three firms are long established and have loyal local customer bases in their respective communities, which is why they are the perfect fit for Lynk, whose core offering is the highest quality local service. Merging with the respected firms will further expand Lynk’s availability across Dublin, meaning even more availability of drivers through their unique app, phone and online booking technology. The ethos for Lynk is to offer their technology and solid infrastructure to more Irish drivers, enhancing their offering for consumers and drivers alike.

The series of mergers will see over 200 new drivers added to Lynk’s Dublin fleet, enhancing their city-wide availability for customers. These mergers are just some of many that Lynk are finalising in the coming months as part of their ongoing expansion in both Dublin and nationwide. Additionally it allows these drivers city wide use of the app, allowing them to generate more work for themselves and to increase their personal income.

Noel Ebbs, CEO of Lynk said “We’re really pleased to have brought such reputable local companies such as Penny Cabs, Exchequers and Tallaght Express fully in to the fold at Lynk. We have been working with these firms and drivers for years and we have all seen the benefit of working together, so to be fully merged is a great success for us. As always our focus is to offer local people the best possible service and drivers the best opportunity and fairest system to make a good living, making these mergers a great achievement on all counts. The mergers are just one of many exciting developments happening for Lynk in the coming months, we’re taking our technology and service to a never before seen level, so watch this space.”
