‘Love Island’ Stars Among Host of Celebs Confirmed for Dublin Charity Football Match

Calum Best will host a celebrity soccer match in Tallaght Stadium on August 31st August at 3pm in aid of two charities.  South Dublin County Council and Shamrock Rovers have teamed up with Calum Best to raise money for the Tallaght Drugs and Alcohol Task Force and UK based Charity Naco (National Association for Children of Alcoholics).

A host of celebrities will take to the Dublin 24 pitch to raise much needed funds for these worthy causes. Television personality Calum Best is the driving force behind the ‘My Tribute’ game, which is due to be staged on Saturday the 31st of August at the stadium (3pm kick-off).

Other celebrities taking part include Love Island stars Jack Fowler, Josh Denzel and Sam Gowland,, James Argent of The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) fame and Dan Osborne, who appeared on Celebrity Big Brother and TOWIE along with Champion boxers Tony Bellew and Carl Frampton. Also, out on the pitch will– Sam also appeared in Geordie Shore – along with English rapper, actor, television personality and former non-league footballer MC Harvey. F2 Freestylers – freestyle football duo Jeremy Lynch and Billy Wingrove – have confirmed they will be putting in an appearance, while Warren Philips, who was also on our TV screens in Survival of The Fittest last year, has also agreed to be there.

Along with these top UK celebrities Calum Best will be announcing some popular Irish celebrities in the coming days to this already stellar cast! Calum said; “I am delighted to be bringing “My Tribute” game to Dublin and to have so many of my pals coming to Ireland in the match is brilliant. I am so grateful with the welcome and support I always get when I come to Ireland, I love it here. I will be announcing some very popular Irish celebs in the coming days!”.

Sellebrity Soccer, which specialises in staging celebrity football matches throughout Ireland and the UK and raises money for charity in doing so, will organise the game in association with South Dublin County Council and Shamrock Rovers F.C.

Tickets for the ‘My Tribute’ celebrity football match will cost €17 per adult and €10 per child (U16) plus booking fee. A limited number of VIP tickets with access to the Player’s Lounge to meet with the teams after the game will be available for €40. This is guaranteed to be a sell out!
