Local St. Patricks Day Events in Lucan and Rathcoole

4 Districts Parade Rathcoole Saggart

1000’s turn out for 4 Districts Parade. “The parade started in Rathlawns in Rathcoole and finished in st Marys Gaa Club. I would like to thank the organizers especially Sharon Greene for their hard work and efforts. I was delighted to see Frank Howe as Grand Marshall on the day. Myself and Cllr Emer Higgins presented three very well deserved awards.”

Winners were; Best Community Float – Rathcoole Boys Football Club. Best Business Float  – Best Business Tipper Services. And Best Overall Float – Commercials Hurling Cumann Iomanaiochta.

It was an honor to take part in the parade and I would like to thank everyone who came out and supported their community!” stated Cllr Trevor Gilligan.
