Recently, community volunteer Tommy Keogh was honoured to have been asked to plant the new hawthorn tree at St Brigid’s Well at Boot Road in Clondalkin on behalf of Clondalkin Mens Shed who maintain the well and its environs. The tree was supplied by SDCC and the event was attended by several committee members from St Brigid’s Festival and Tidy Towns plus a large number of Tommy’s former neighbours from the Boot and Commons road estates.
