Lidl Ireland’s brand-new store on Main Street Upper in Newcastle, Dublin was officially opened recently by Dublin Ladies Gaelic Football Captain Carla Rowe. Crowds gathered early to be amongst the first shoppers across the door to enjoy opening day entertainment and exclusive in-store offers. The highly anticipated new store offers customers a premium shopping experience, with a modern fit out including high ceilings, wide aisles, and a large sales floor. The first ten shoppers through the doors received complimentary vouchers to shop Lidl’s renowned range of high-quality products at market-leading value, and huge savings on middle aisle favourites.
To mark the opening, the store team in Newcastle including Christine, Donal Fahey and the store’s Manager Dawn Hayden are pictured here presenting a donation voucher cheque for €1000 to John Kinsella from neighbouring St Finian’s Community Hall. The volunteer-led group run the local facility for the benefit of the whole community, providing a welcoming space for everyone to socialise and avail of support.
