Kevin Donovan who only took up running two years ago, will take part in the Frank Duffy 10 mile race on the 26th of August as part of his 32 county running challenge to raise funds for the Cork Deaf Association and the Irish Deaf Society.
Races vary from 5km to half marathon and Kevin has set himself a challenge to complete in one year, with 27 counties ticked off the list already! The deaf community in Ireland hold a special place with Kevin, as a child he had a specific speech disorder and attended a school for the deaf in Cork. Kevin was helped with his speech and was able to progress.
