Irish Life Health have partnered with Affidea to launch three Irish Life Health ExpressCare Clinics, located in Tallaght and Santry in Dublin as well as Cork City. These clinics allow members fast access to care when they need it, aiming to see patients within 1 hour, with no appointment needed, and are open 7 days a week.
Last year alone over 45,000 patients were treated across these clinics in Cork and Dublin, helping alleviate significant pressure on both A&E departments and busy GP clinics in the locality. These clinics are JCI* accredited having achieved the international standard for quality of patient safety and care. An increase in the demand for access to minor injury clinics has been observed, with Irish Life Health noting a 50% increase in claims for minor injuries in 2023 compared to previous year.
