Heritage week 2019 is now in full swing and the local Clondalkin Round Tower Heritage Group have hosted several events and there is still more to come! On the 24th & 25th of August a heritage walk of Clondalkin village starts at 3pm, meeting at Bru Chronain on Tower Road. All welcome, children must be accompanied by an adult. On the 24th of August from 12:30 – 5pm, in the garden of Bru Chronain , you can enter the viking tent to encounter objects and crafts from the Viking era all welcome. On Sunday the 25th of August from 2pm – 3pm enjoy an introduction to fly casting and spinning for all the family, meet at Clondalkin Leisure Centre hosted by Friends of the Camac. And on the 22nd of August at 7:30pm, meet at the Clondalkin Tower Cinema which opened 80 years ago.
