Fiona Guinan, Secretary of the Clondalkin Handcraft & Horticultural Show 2021 thanked all who participated in this year’s on-line show. The show which was held on-line was very different from previous year’s shows, but still it was an outstanding success with such a large number of very high standard entries being submitted. The judges deliberated over the many wonderful entries and then selected the gold medal winners for each sub category, Then the judges selected the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners from the gold medal winners.
Fiona thanked the management & staff of the East village restaurant at the Heritage Centre for all their help, and also thanked all the many sponsors and supporters of the show..
She said that in 2022 the show would resume to its original format with the many workshops in art, craft and horticultural and also revert to the normal two day event. The presentation of prizes was held in the grounds of the historic Brú Chrónáin Round Tower Heritage Centre in Clondalkin village.
