After 30 years, Cllr Trevor Gilligan Welcomes GaelScoil na Camoíge Minister Announcement. 2 x 16 Classroom Primary Schools + PE hall, he said “I welcome the Ministers’ decision on this, it has been delayed on so many occasions and so we hope we do not get let down again. This has been 30 years in the making. Former students now teach in the school. This affects not just Camoige, not just Gael Scoil Chluain dolcain but in general, the greater Clondalkin area. I met with príomhoide Aoife Ni Raghallaigh recently and I commend her on her hard work, on top of her role as principal, in pushing this along. They held a peaceful protest outside the Dail and I feel they brought the issue to the highest levels with a professional manner. My child attends Gael Scoil Chluain dolcain and I witness on a daily basis how much time and effort the teachers put into the children and their education. I hope to meet with Minister Foley to keep on top of the issue and to make sure there are no more delays or hiccups along the way including construction of the buildings.”
