Local TD, Frances Fitzgerald and Councillor Vicki Casserly congratulated the Esker Celtic Frame Football Team on their return from their first international competition this weekend. Councillor Casserly’s son James, is part of the team.
Speaking at Dublin Airport Fitzgerald commented, “There was lots of excitement in Dublin Airport on Sunday night, with my colleague Councillor Vicki Casserly awaiting the return of Esker Celtic Frame Football team from their first international competition in the UK. I really admire the work of the coaches and helpers in Esker Celtic who are involved in the Football for All programme. This team are the first ever Frame Football team in Ireland and this programme helps to ensure that sport is inclusive for all young people, of all abilities.
