Empty driveway? Wish you had a car? Parkpnp & GoCar have a treat for you
Sharing economy companies recruiting space owners across Dublin for new scheme

Mobility innovators Parkpnp & GoCar have announced an exciting new partnership which will see homeowners support GoCar’s expansion into the Dublin suburbs. The scheme will see space owners earn cash or credit in return for hosting a GoCar in their driveways, with the added benefit of a pay as you go car available to use whenever they need.

The roll-out of the scheme comes on the back of a successful pilot which the companies have been operating in the Deansgrange area for the last year.

Speaking about the launch of the partnership, Garret Flower Parkpnp Global CEO remarked “This is a match made in heaven for smart homeowners. If I had a driveway I’d be the first to sign up. Literally people are getting paid to have a new car in their driveway, without any of the overheads which come with car ownership.”

Colm Brady, Managing Director, GoCar said: “Over 80% of GoCar members don’t own a car, and we know there are plenty of people in the suburbs who would love to get rid of their cars but don’t currently have access to GoCar in their area. This partnership allows people to have access to car sharing for themselves and their communities, and also benefit from the space they’ve freed up now they can get rid of their own car. There has been a lot of enthusiasm about our expansion, and we’re constantly open to feedback from the public on an area where they would like to see car sharing.”
