A 4-year blended learning programme for those currently working, or considering a future career in early childhood education is being introduced by Hibernia College, beginning next Autumn.
Combining modules on early intervention, special education, inclusion and diversity, and research methods, the Bachelor of Education (Honours) Early Childhood Education programme satisfies guidelines published by the Department of Education.
Noting the greater scrutiny being given to the educational needs of those working in the sector, Hibernia College states that its course ‘meets the need for a structured approach’ with children of pre-school age set to benefit from the initiative.
