Recently, the Chief Executive of South Dublin County Council, Colm Ward officially signed the contract for the works on the Killinarden Park Regeneration Project. The plans for the park were developed by the council in tandem with the local community, and were passed as a Part 8 (planning process) by the council.
The works have now commenced on site and will include upgrade to entrances, provision of signage and information, upgrade of the existing grass pitches, new facilities and new walking and cycling routes. These works are funded by South Dublin County Council, the National Transport Authority and the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.
