Clondalkin Swimming pool back in full operational capacity

Cllr William Careyhas welcomed the news that the long running saga of the broken boom at Clondalkin swimming pool has finally come to an end. Recently, Clondalkin swimming pool became fully operational again when contractors working on behalf of South Dublin County Council finally managed to carry out repairs to the “boom”. The boom operates to divide the pool to allow for children separately and when withdrawn allows for swimming clubs to swim full lengths of the pool. In recent weeks the repairs have been carried out which means the pool is now fully operational. Cllr Carey added that swimming clubs and those involved in the sport of swimming can get back to what they do best and maximum use of the pool can now be achieved. I am hopeful the repairs have achieved its goal and that any further issues may be dealt with in a more speedy fashion.
