Cllr Timmons recently said ‘’I am delighted to announce on behalf of the committee that The Theme for this year’s St Patrick’s Day Parade is ‘’Diversity – The United colours of Clondalkin’’. Cllr Timmons added ‘’The parade grows from strength to strength each year and is growing into a much-loved annual event. The parade is an opportunity to showcase all that is good about Clondalkin and the organisers are keen to show residents both new and older what groups are in our area, we are also calling out for funds and volunteers’’
Cllr Timmons continued ‘’This year we are asking all those taking part to add as much colour as possible to there entry, we want to make it the most colourful and diverse parade yet!’’

St Patrick (aka Ed Murphy) have signed up along with, Tinseltown Stage School, LD Dance School, Newlands FC, Clondalkin Shotokan Academy, Relay for life, the Downey Crowley School of Irish Dancing, Funky Steps, Martin Wade (Classic motorcycle (1960)), Ukrainian group, Yip yips, The cleaning Company, Newlands Taekwon-Do Club, The Rose Academy – Irish Dancers, Clondalkin Fairtrade Town, Clonburris Climate Champions, The Clondalkin Cycle Crew, Dublin Lions – Clondalkin Basketball Club, Elite Karate Academy, Motor Bikes, Scooters and Vintage cars and the pipe band so far along with Taylor D and a Funfair.
