Pictured are Damian Curley, Branch Manager at Chadwicks Lucan, alongside colleague, Enda Smith, launching a brand-new beekeeping initiative at the store’s yard. The initiative was introduced by the team at Chadwicks Lucan, who have been involved in various local environmental campaigns over the past few years, including a ‘Save the Bees’ project in 2023. For that project, a wildflower garden was installed at the yard to aid the local bee population with Damien and Enda completing beekeeping training afterwards to take that support one step further.
The beekeeping initiative is the first of its kind at a Chadwicks branch in Ireland and is one of several initiatives in development to support the local biodiversity of the Chadwicks branch network. For more information, visit chadwicks_ie on Instagram.
