CCIFV Petition For An Gorta Mor Exhibition

Committee of the Commoration of Irish Famine Victims (CCIFV)  have set up a Petition to get a permanent exhibition in the National Museum of Ireland to An Gorta Mor. The Petition has been sent to all political party leaders and the local TDs  have supported.

The film Black ’47 is on general release 5/9/18 the first film ever made on An Gorta Mor this will bring the “Famine” to the general public audience and also highlight the fact that there is no exhibition to An Gorta Mor in the National Museum of Ireland.

CCIFV will follow the template of the successful campaigns for the National Famine Memorial Day on a fixed day.
