Alicia Raye: Redefining the Music Scene with The Queenship Cypher

At the heart of Alayex’s residency at the Red Line Book Festivals, The Queenship Cypher will feature a dynamic five-week program of workshops that promises to revolutionize the Irish music industry. This is an open invite to all female creatives interested in advancing in their creative careers. Central to this transformation is the exceptional Alicia Raye, who will lead the Songwriting workshop—a testament to her remarkable career as an artist and artist manager.

Alicia Raye, originally from Drogheda and now based in Belfast, has cemented her place as a household name and a highly respected figure in the Irish music scene. Her career has been punctuated by groundbreaking achievements, including the chart-topping collaborative mixtape “Alphabet,” which featured 35 of Ireland’s finest artists. Known for her unapologetic lyrics, Alicia’s signature blend of trap-soul and jazz-infused vocals has positioned her as a pioneer in the Urban sound in Ireland.

In addition to her artist career, Alicia manages other artists, demonstrating her deep commitment to nurturing talent and driving innovation in the music industry. Her latest release, “Far Away,” featuring Becky McNeice, is a testament to her evolving sound, and she’s set to release an exciting new project in October. Alicia Raye is not only an artist but also a seasoned performer. She’s slated to make waves at this year’s Irish Music Week in October, showcasing her immense talent and captivating stage presence.
