The Community Grants Programme is aimed at providing financial assistance to Community and Voluntary Groups who are responding to locally identified needs within their communities. “This funding will greatly assist our community groups and clubs to continue running their teams and carry out their activities. The grants have been awarded to a diverse range of groups supporting young and old in our communities. Community spirit is alive and well across our county, some of these clubs are well established and some in their infancy. It is fantastic that we can offer financial support to help the clubs and groups to grow and flourish,” said Cllr. Emer Higgins.
