St Andrews Raises 3rd Green Flag in Lucan

St Andrews Lucan

St. Andrew’s National School Lucan celebrated a significant milestone on the 18th of June, with the raising of their 3rd Green Flag! This achievement reflects the school’s outstanding commitment to environmental sustainability over the past two years. The Green School Committee, led by the dedicated teacher Ms. Jane Crawford, has worked tirelessly to implement eco-friendly practices and initiatives throughout the school.

The ceremony was made even more special with a fantastic recreation of Taylor Swift’s “Shake it Off,” showcasing the students’ creativity and enthusiasm for environmental causes. Principal Padraic Byrne welcomed local representatives Fine Gael TD and Minister Emer Higgins, Cllr Vicki Casserly, Cllr Caroline Brady, Cllr Liona O’Toole, Cllr Paul Gogarty, and Senator Emer Currie. Congratulations once again to everyone at St. Andrew’s National School Lucan for this incredible accomplishment.
