Cllr. Francis Timmons Chair of the Clondalkin, Newcastle, Rathcoole, Saggart and Brittas Area Committee of South Dublin County Council officially performs the sod-turning ceremony for the upgrade works at St Cuthberts Park. Recently, Councillor Timmons of South Dublin County Council, officially turned the sod to mark the commencement of works on the upgrade works at St Cuthberts Park. He was joined by fellow Councillors and Deputy Mark Wark, staff of South Dublin County Council and guests to celebrate this event.
Speaking at the event Cllr. Francis Timmons said “The park will provide improved walking and cycling routes, a range of play facilities for children of all ages, a space for teenagers, improved sports pitches, an all-weather MUGA, more tree planting, increased biodiversity and better views into St Cuthberts Church.The Councillor acknowledged and thanked the community for their assistance and input during the design stage and their support for St Cuthberts Park in general”.
Works are commencing in the park this month and will be under progress through the Summer and into the Autumn.
