On May 11th, Lucan held its first ever Darkness Into Light Walk bringing 2,000 locals together. The Darkness Into Light Committee comprised of Minister Emer Higgins, Committee Chair Cllr Liona O’Toole, and members Cora, Helen, Ella, Jo, Kate, Emma, Audrey, and Michael with a special thanks to Fingal County Council. Participants took to St Catherine’s Park to raise awareness for mental health and for Pieta’s mission against suicide and self-harm.
