Tallaght Stadium Sod Turning

Mayor of South Dublin County Council, Cllr. Paul Gogarty, on 22nd March 2018, has turned the sod at the start of the construction of the new South Stand at Tallaght Stadium, with the building contractor, ABM Ltd. now on site.

The new stand will be a single tier structure, with 2,183 spectator seats, to be built along the southern end of Tallaght Stadium, and it is anticipated that the Stand will be completed by the end of September 2018.

South Dublin County Council (SDCC) is delighted that Tallaght Stadium is being expanded with improved spectator facilities being provided. The capacity of the Stadium will be over 8,000 seats once the stand is completed.
