On the 18th February the Irish Photography Federation held the final competition for photographer of the year in the Talbot Hotel Co Carlow. Palmerstown Camera Club was represented by Lorraine Morris who joined the club in September. Lorraine got her camera around a year ago and she decided to do the Palmerstown Camera Club six week course and learn about photography.
Lorraine won a gold medal for none advanced mono and €50 voucher; a Bronze medal in Non advanced Natural World and received a silver medal for open colour print.
Many congratulations Lorraine from Palmerstown Camera Club. If you are interested in photography and meeting people with the same interest join Palmerstown Camera Club on Wednesday nights between 8pm – 10pm in the Parish Hall Kennellsfort Road, Palmerstown, Dublin 20.
