Rounding The Corner by Bronagh Lyons

As 2020 comes to an end, this is a prime time to pause and reflect. This time last year we looked toward a new year, a new decade. We had plans and hopes for what would be. We took much for granted in terms of what the “norms” would be in 2020 and what we could expect.

None of us could have anticipated the year that was. Insecurity, change, uncertainty, plans cancelled, fear, illness… I’m sure at one point we all felt or experienced these. 2020 brought more than that however. It brought community, it brought time, it brought change in a positive sense.

It helped us grow internally. We learned, we adapted, we transformed. As this year rounds the corner, take time to reflect. Journal. Talk. Release anything that you are holding inside.

Connect with yourself. How are you? Really, how are you? Reflect on it all, the bad and the good. What have you learned this year that you can bring into 2021 and the rest of this decade? You are stronger than you know, you are loved and you are needed.

With that, I wish you all a lovely rest of 2020 and will hopefully speak to you again in the New Year!
