‘Business for Social Impact’ Incubator Programme now open for applications

ISBC Dublin

Are you passionate about creating real social change, and driven by passion and committed to exploring possibilities? If so, a new business incubator programme just launched may be of interest.

Applications are now open for the new ‘Business for Social Impact’ Incubator Programme being run by Irish Social Business Campus (ISBC), in partnership with Innovate Communities in Dublin, starting this November.

The ‘Business for Social Impact’ programme is designed specifically for people who want to create and develop sustainable businesses that make a positive social impact, and it is an opportunity to be part of a group of like-minded entrepreneurs.

The unique programme will be run online from November to March, and will include a series of interactive workshops, mentorship, personal journey support and more – all customised to each participant’s unique journey.  During the programme participants will have access to experts in all areas of social business, providing a space to discover the possibilities, explore the options and map out the pathway that fits them and their business. At the end of the programme, an Online Showcase will celebrate the effort and progress made by participants.

ISBC was founded by a team of professionals and organisations passionate about nurturing the social entrepreneur community and ethos in Ireland. Since 2016 they have provided valuable Incubator Programmes, events and other initiatives specifically designed to support and nurture social enterprises on their entrepreneurial journeys; enabling them to connect them with the wider business community and to help them become viable and financially independent.

This is the first time that the ISBC has provided such a programme in Dublin; and they are pleased to partner with Innovate Communities, the Dublin organisation that transforms the way communities solve problems, and supports communities to create new solutions that result in sustainable improvements.

Speaking about the upcoming programme, Pauline Gannon,Director of Social Purpose & Impact, Irish Social Business Campus said “As history shows, the biggest successes come from collaboration. What makes the ISBC programme strong is our ability to connect emerging social entrepreneurs with those who can help them – whether it is another social entrepreneur, a business advisor, a potential founder or a mentor. For the upcoming programme we are delighted to partner with Innovate Communities, an organisation that has similar values to ourselves, and aims to empower the individuals they work with.”

The application deadline for the new programme is Friday, 16th October, and this will be followed by an interview process. The programme will commence on Monday, 2nd November.
