Local Councillor Trevor Gilligan recently highlighted an application to apply for permission for modifications to a previously approved development ‘SHD ABP-305563-19’ at this site at Fortunestown Lane and Parklands Parade, Saggart, Co. Dublin with location on Garters Ln, Fortunestown Way, Saggart.

Cllr. Gilligan commented “Where are the creche or school spaces, the traffic plans. This is going to have an even greater impact on the traffic in Saggart, Rathcoole and Newcastle. We are crying out for school & creche spaces, yet there seems to be no real desire to include such community services with these planning apps. A relief road is needed for Saggart along with extra bus services but again, there seems to be no references to such items as part of the planning process.”
